To start collecting rent via the Baselane platform, you’ll need first to verify your identity.

You can start the verification process by clicking on the ‘Start Verification’ button found in your Profile & Settings - which is located at the top-right of your screen. Use your personal information (full name, date of birth, and SSN) and not any business information. If you have not completed your verification prior to setting up rent collection, you will be prompted to do so.

Verification is usually completed within seconds; however, it may take up to 3 days in some cases. Once verified, you will see a green "Verified'' symbol on your Baselane Banking page, and you will be able to add a bank account to collect rent and deposits when setting up a Rent Collection.
