From the Transactions page, click on the arrow on the right-hand side of the corresponding transaction you want to split. Next, click on the ‘Split’ button on the top right of the Transactions Details drawer.
Here, you will be able to split the transaction into sub-transactions that can be categorized and tagged as required.
Can I edit or merge a transaction that has been split?
Yes, you are able to edit or merge a split transaction. To do so, follow the steps below:
Go to the Transactions tab
Select the arrow to the right of one of the two portions of the split transaction
Select the ‘View Split’ button
This will bring you to the details of the split transaction, where you’ll be able to edit the split transaction or select the ‘Merge Transaction’ button to merge the transaction back into the original transaction
Please note, if you choose to merge a split transaction back into the original transaction, this process will remove any categorization or attachment that was added to the transaction after it was split.
