When you’re setting up Rent Collection terms, you have the option to add late fees. Late fees are added to the tenant invoice automatically if a payment has not been initiated by 8:10 am UTC (3:10 am EST) the day you’ve scheduled late fees to begin.

For example, if rent is due on the first of the month and late fees have been scheduled for three days after the rent is due, the late fee would be charged to the tenant’s bank account on the 4th of the month at 8:10 am UTC (3:10 am EST).
